I'm pretty sure I was one of the only people that was going to give this movie a chance, I wasn't overly excited for it and I doubted it would be anything amazing but I'm not the kind of guy who wants a movie to suck, I like to give everything a chance and sure enough, this film wasn't that bad, it was actually pretty good. Some people might call it boring but I think the fact that they spent most of the film developing the main characters and not building up to the end battle is something that should be praised but because of this the ending felt very rushed and anti-climatic. I felt they should have balanced a bit better but I am hopeful that the sequel (if the rights aren't sold back to marvel after this) will be a lot better now that we know our characters and their origins. The villain, while being in the film for probably only 20 minutes was very menacing at first, the first scene where his powers are shown being more like a horror movie instead of action, but the main battle had him as a wooden run of the mill bad guy who was easily defeated in five minutes with not much threat or suspense. The action is few and far between with a pretty terrible ending but overall a fun movie with fleshed out characters which should have been more balanced. I give it a

4/10

And there isn't an end credit scene.
